GD32E230C8T6
GigaDevice GD32E230C8T6 ARM Cortex-M23 MCU, 72 MHz, 64 KB flash and 8 KB SRAM, low-cost and low-power, in an LQFP-48 package.
The GD32E230C8T6 is a GigaDevice GD32E230 32-bit general-purpose microcontroller based on the Arm Cortex-M23 core, in an LQFP-48 package. It runs at up to 72 MHz with 64 KB of on-chip flash and 8 KB of SRAM, which suits a cost-sensitive control, a sensor or a small appliance application that needs a modern, low-power core at a low cost. The peripheral set includes up to five general-purpose 16-bit timers, an advanced-control timer, a basic timer, a SysTick timer and an RTC, a 12-bit ADC unit, a comparator, and interfaces such as SPI, I2C, USART, I2S and SDIO, with up to 39 general-purpose I/O pins. The device operates from about 2.6 V to 3.6 V over an industrial temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C, and the Cortex-M23 core gives a good balance of performance, low power and cost for a battery-backed or a mains-powered small design. The familiar Arm toolchain and the GigaDevice firmware library make the software development straightforward. Typical applications include industrial control, motor control, power monitoring, consumer and handheld equipment and small appliances. Every device BeiLuo ships is factory-traceable and includes an import declaration, a certificate of origin and a RoHS compliance file. Our FAE team helps you choose the memory and the package and plan the software and the peripherals.
FAE Professional Review
The GD32E230C8T6 is the low-cost, low-power entry to the GD32 family, a Cortex-M23 part with 64 KB of flash that suits a simple control, a sensor node or a small appliance where the cost and the power matter. It has a good set of timers, an ADC and a comparator for a basic control loop. Choose it when a Cortex-M3 is more than the application needs.
